The Eglinton Primary School project focused on enhancing the school’s outdoor space to create a functional and engaging environment for students. The scope of work included earthworks to prepare the site, followed by the supply and installation of quality turf and greenstock to establish a vibrant and sustainable landscape. Hardscape elements were integrated, featuring timber balance logs and steppers to encourage active play, along with stone boulders for natural aesthetics and a raised vegetable planter to support outdoor learning. An irrigation system was installed, including a bore head connection, to ensure efficient water management. The project was completed with ongoing maintenance, providing a well-kept and inviting space for students to enjoy outdoor activities and learning experiences.



BRABHAM EAST PRIMARY SCHOOL OVAL WORKS, Universal Constructions
The Brabham East Primary School project involved the transformation of the school’s outdoor space into a functional and inviting recreational area. The scope of work included earthworks to prepare the site, followed by the supply and installation of high-quality turf and greenstock to create a lush and durable playing surface. Hardscape elements were incorporated, including the installation of timber seating, granite seats, metal edging, and strategically placed boulders to enhance both aesthetics and functionality.



BEECHBORO CHRISTIAN SCHOOL PLAYGROUND, Beechboro Christian School
The Beechboro Christian School Playground project involved the transformation of the outdoor play area to create an engaging and dynamic space for students. The project began with the removal and relocation of existing play equipment, followed by earthworks to prepare the site. A limestone wall was constructed to define the sandpit area, while a dedicated water play zone was introduced to enhance interactive play. The installation of timber and concrete play items added variety and durability to the space. Feature rock boulders, along with a rock wall and rock pitching, were strategically placed to provide natural climbing elements and aesthetic appeal, resulting in a well-designed and stimulating playground for students to enjoy.




READ 2 GROW EARLY LEARNING CHILD CARE DAYTON, Read to Grow Early Learning Child Care
The Read to Grow Early Learning Child Care project in Dayton focused on creating a vibrant and interactive outdoor play space for young children. The work included earthworks and fine grading to prepare the site, along with limestone playground edging and walls for defined play areas. Custom timber play items were installed, including a ship structure complete with a slide, net, and ladder to encourage imaginative play. Water pump taps and creek beds were incorporated to provide sensory and water play experiences. Carved timber logs and steppers added natural elements, while a dedicated bike path offered opportunities for active play. The project was completed with irrigation installation, turfing, and planting, ensuring a lush and inviting environment for children to explore and enjoy.






BUTTERCUPS CHILD CARE CENTRES, Buttercups Child Care
Ligna’s scope involved the design and construction of nature playgrounds across multiple centres, creating engaging and stimulating outdoor environments for children. The playgrounds featured custom timber play items, including a timber sandpit with a ramp, carved timber balance logs, and steppers to encourage natural exploration. A large fort with a tunnel provided exciting climbing and imaginative play opportunities, while an art wall and blackboard fostered creativity. Safety and functionality were enhanced with synthetic turf installation, rubber softfall, and a concrete bike path for active play. The project was completed with the supply and installation of irrigation and garden bed planting, ensuring a lush and well-maintained space for children to enjoy.


THOMAS STREET MEDIAN ISLANDS – IRRIGATION AND MULCHING, City of Perth
The Thomas Street Median Islands project in West Perth involved the installation of irrigation and mulching along the median islands between Monash Avenue and Kings Park Road. The scope of work included earthworks to prepare the site, as well as obtaining all necessary approvals from the Shire and Main Roads to ensure compliance with regulations. Traffic management planning and implementation were also key aspects of the project, ensuring minimal disruption during construction. The completed works enhanced the streetscape by improving greenery and sustainability along the busy roadway.



PINGELLY MEMORIAL PARK, Shire of Pingelly
The Pingelly Memorial Park project involved extensive upgrades and landscaping to enhance the community space. The work included bulk earthworks, concrete paving, and garden kerbing, along with limestone playground edging and retaining walls. Custom timber play items, a double flying fox, and swings were installed, complemented by carved timber logs and steppers for natural play elements. Safety features such as rubber softfall mulch and sand softfall were incorporated, along with furniture, BBQ facilities, and gazebos for community use. An accessible toilet block was installed to improve inclusivity, while feature rock boulders and rock pitching added to the park’s aesthetic appeal. The project also included irrigation, electrical, and plumbing work, ensuring sustainability and functionality, with the final touches of turfing and planting completing the transformation of the park into a welcoming and vibrant public space.


CENTENARY PARK – KELLERBERRIN, Shire of Kellerberrin
The Centenary Park project for the Shire of Kellerberrin involved a comprehensive transformation of the public space, creating a dynamic and engaging environment for the community. The work included bulk earthworks, concrete paving, garden kerbing, and the installation of concrete stairs with handrails for accessibility. Natural and durable elements such as compacted and loose gravel, granite stone walls, a granite outcrop, and feature rock boulders were incorporated to enhance the landscape. A standout feature was the custom ‘Old Homestead’ cubby climber, along with various custom timber play items, a double flying fox, swings, carved timber logs, and steppers, providing diverse play opportunities. Safety surfaces included rubber softfall, mulch, and sand softfall. Additional amenities such as timber fencing, gazebos, furniture, BBQ installations, and irrigation ensured functionality and comfort. The project was completed with turfing and planting, creating a well-rounded and inviting recreational space for visitors of all ages.
